Normally yes. But;
- Over time the wiring cable deteriorates
- The cable gatherer is higher on this build

baller!

bike arrived and it rides amazingly well; gear ratios are perfect for me and braking is awesome.
Does brompton need disc brakes? No. Do I hate rim brakes? Yes.

Any suggestions why my rear brake caliper doesn't release after braking. I took it off to fit the rack and now it's back on I can't get it to work.
Looks identical to the front in terms of where the bits are

Spring nut over tighten?

Try maybe a drop or 2 of some lube where the spring engages in that little black plastic bit on the left

Anyone who has a rear rack find when they fold your Brompton away the front wheel pops out from the hook?
-
• #12891
I found I had to adjust the stopper/bumper for the seatpost slightly to make sure the hook engages fully when rolling it. Seems more sensitive to changes with the rack, but is ok now having made the change

Sounds like you need to adjust the lower stop disc

https://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?t=155039 someone over on CTC is selling a great looking Steve Parry built Rohloff Brompton - seems like a good deal if you are in Edinburgh.

I had the same problem with the brakes on a B75; loosen the bolt in front of the spring that's holding it in place. Remove spring apply grease where it goes into black plastic part and reassemble.

Only thing nice about this bike is the bag IMHO:

Nah, it goes all the way up to the retainer ring then back down.
Whatever works really and I was being pedantic ;)
I wired +cornelius_blackfoot 's with the same lights and decided to only use the rear light cable and didn't trim any of the front in case he migrates the setup to another bike.
