Thought I'm cognizant of the comments on the previous page about the quality of Pro-Ject gear, I have a possibly controversial suggestion for the small room system:
Realistically in a room that size, you're never going to have to push the amp that hard, and therefore the actual amp choice is not hugely important as audible distortion is unlikely.
Therefore, how about a Pro-Ject Juke Box E and allow yourself to maximise value on the speakers, where you can really hear the benefit (and maybe a new stylus or something if you must). Keeps things uncluttered also.
