I used one of these when I built a go kart frame from pretty heavy pipes, I’d think that on some nice tubes it would be up to the job. Just don’t trust the angle markers and use an angle finder.

Nice, I was going to ask how you did it. Hadn't heard of tube notchers before. Quick google suggests they are a jig for holding the workpiece and a holesaw, powered by a drill?
