If you are brazing frames you can get away with karate chopping the tubes :)

Not sure I get this, am I being slow? Do you mean when brazing the fitup can be sloppy compared to welding since the parent material doesn't melt?

It's pretty hard to bridge gaps in thin wall tubes with welds, it's pretty easy with bronze :)
Yes exactly. I've read somewhere that you can get away with only 50% contact when brazing. I can't remember where tho.
