I had one of these, which I loved but I stood on the strap when I was drunk and bent it. A new strap was more than the watch!

Longines silver arrows now discontinued so a massive Billy bargain if anyone fancies.

The strap is probably the bit I like least. It is an extremely effective wrist depilator!

I guess that makes it better value?

Some of the heritage pieces seem to have short production runs.

Had a fun time in a watch shop in Reykjavik earlier.

Had a big lol. Was told that they won't put anyone on the R List unless they're from iceland.

Also the Pelagos 39 was display only.

I think rolex is finding themselves with a lot of stock now if I've found a destro. (I don't think that... I don't think anything. Only thing I think they're full of shit)

I'm not surprised on the 39. The lol was the country restriction.

Sadly I found the P 39 too small. I'm really really disappointed.

I guess you wouldn’t need to flip many Rolexes bought at RRP for the trips to Iceland to pay for themselves

Strong prices on this model, but you can see why, the bezel to face ratio is so much better,
less fussy dial and the same shapes (term?) around the date window as around the hour markers. Compared to later Seikos quoted and the Black Bay.
