Fair enough, I get that. Even I managed to set TRP Spyres up half decently though. Not really any more faff or more complex than rim brakes after a couple of YouTube videos. Hydraulics are still an absolute mystery to me though. I think there's some sort of magical stopping juice in there somewhere.
Yeah, I'm afraid it would make it feel too heavy and complicated to run as my daily driver with discs. I get the more predictable stopping, but I'm not usually doing more than 15mph in town!
