If I was doing a van from scratch I'd forget an old school lead acid leisure battery and run the whole lot off a decent USB power bank. If you need 12V for the water pump use the starter battery. It's not like you're going to drain it with a few seconds use. You could also consider one of those camping power pack things.

Has anyone here done diy electrics on their camper conversion?
I’m know very little about van electrics but as I’m converting my van myself I’d like to have a go at it.
I’d like to install a leisure battery to run a few lights, tap pump and charge my phone. That’s about it really. I don’t need solar. Maybe a mains hookup.
I’d like to order all I need as a kit but can’t seem to find one.
Any advice is appreciated.
