• I bought a PS3 (no power cable, so I should have known better) which came today. It was packaged unbagged with the controllers, headset and games, in a big box full of shredded paper.

There was dust over everything, paper bits inside the CD slot, and it all went over my floor. That's a bit of a pain because I've got a broken ankle, and one legged hoovering is a bit tricky. although the hoover does provide an extra contact point for the floor, I suppose.

I plugged it in, and the PS3 power light blinks and nothing shows on the screen.

The seller accepts returns, so I went through that, but the prepaid RM label only covers 2KG - the package is comfortably heavier than that.

Ebay tell me to get in touch with the seller to ask for a label that covers postage, and he's offered me the lot for £20 vs £48 that I paid. What am I going to do with a load of untested games, 2 controllers and a manky headset without a console?

Big waste of time, and I'm looking at having to cart the big heavy box to the post office on crutches. Poor old me!

EDIT: Got a refund, had to bin the lot and take a photo of it
