Time RXRS Ulteam - 58cm

Up next is a pretty cool one. Pretty much already pretty hip hop but it’s got potential to be proper.

Colleagues RXRS Ulteam in 58cm ctc TT.
Running in slightly worn out Cosmics.
Drivetrain is a complete first gen DA di2. 7970. It’s a master unto itself, you cannot mod of mix and match this one. It uses the first gen eTube wires.

Saying that though, it runs as it should, testament to how reliable di2 is. Also, it’s stupidly fast on the shift. Going by eye and shift only, but I’d say it’s faster than the new stuff.
Braking is DA as well. Swiss stops for pads.
Original stem and ZIPP bars.

Now the issues.
Headset and BB bearings could do with replacing.
There are some scuffs all over to the lacquer on the frame.
The biggest is the crack to the seat clamp, which I’ve shown.
This has not caused any issues to the owner in the 5+ years he’s owned it, and he’s a big lad at 6’2.

Hi mate how you doing?could you please measure from centre of bottom bracket to top of saddle,thanks and if possible how much Seatpost is left before minimum insertion,kind regards neil

800mm from bb to top of saddle.
Seatmast is 80mm from bottom to minimum.

Nah, it’s original dropout, the paint has bubbled. I’ve tried to be as clear with photos as I can.

This is back up for sale. I've been made aware that the RD does not work. BB and headset bearings need replacing. As such, price reflected.

I keep coming back to this as it looks great, so tempting.

But then I think of that cracked seat lamp (how easy to replace?), the broken 1st gen Di2 rear mech, the shagged bearings and really worn wheels (plus any other issues to discover) and the price is a real struggle.

Nope. That’s totally understandable and glad you’ve highlighted it.

Part of me reckons it’ll be easier if I’d just strip it and sell it for parts. I’ll consult and see what they say.

Splitting makes sense, especially if bearings and seat clamp are sorted before selling

I'd have tried to sort it all out before selling if it was mine, but hey ho.
