Presume it's a BMX brand with those specs? Looks similar to the S&M shield logo

yes, that's my first thought but I don't think S&M ever made a FGFS frame.
Leader also used the shield logo?

S&M Shield tends to be fatter if you know what I mean, the sides are straight for a bit where this curves towards the point right from the top.
They also tend to do embossing/engraving/stamping rather than full on cut outs.

Leader could be a good shout.
Edit: Mmm actually, the leader shield has a convex curved top not the peaked top.

its a FGFS bike that my friend bought from ebay for polo but it was too long and heavy for her... I'll see if she can remember the brand.

Ah nice, I think I looked at an eighth inch frame but it wasn’t quite right, must have been another model.
Cheers.
I bought this frame off eBay because it looked interesting and I figure I can make something with (part of?) it.
There’s no decals and nothing obvious from the frame number to identify the brand but there is this shield cut out on the top tube gusset that I thought someone might recognise.
It’s got 14mm dropouts, removable u brake mounts (not present) and cable routing (present), mid bb and integrated headset if that helps.
