Heales Cycles are worth a look too. They do gravel rides and are run by a lovely bloke.
I find most things like this on Instagram. Seems like a pretty decent way to put things together.

Giro in Esher (coffee shop rather than cafe) and Sigma sports both do good gravel rides although they are possibly a bit far south for you. Maybe make an effort to rock up to one and chat to the other riders to see if anyone lives a bit closer to you

Moloko cycling also seem to have a calendar of rides that are probably more accessible from your neck of the woods

Why not join a cycle club? Plenty of good friendly ones in your area which are open to all abilities and offer free taster sessions to see if you like them.

Thank you for your replies! Really helpful. Already booked a spot on a Sunday ride with Moloko cycling!
Hello, yesterday I randomly approached a group o cyclists who were on Temple cycles social weekend ride, unfortunately, the next one is sometime next month. Where do I find info about such rides like this? I suppose other bikes shops might be doing similar events? I have zero cycling friends so all of my rides were solitary, and due to that I stopped cycling. I want to do it again as it gives me so much joy but would like to make it social now. Please spread some info and love :) I have a gravel bike so mostly interested in that kind of a ride, I'm located around Hackney, north east. Thank you!
