Been passing by there every commute this winter, glad there was a theme that suited it well.

At this time of the year I find a good amount of positive vibes comes from the days getting longer again, so let's go with #daylight - let me know if it has been done before, a quick search didn't suggest so

Just to belatedly say congratulations to @giofox - I got really ill last weekend and at the beginning of the week hence my silence... anyway, great photo and great theme! Where actually is that place that you took the photo of, and what's the story of what's happening there?

That is Northwall Road (E20), right next to the Velodrome in the Olympic Park, as seen from the overpass here

I don't know the full story, but there is some debate online on why the road was built and what exact purpose it serves, including its own dedicated LFGSS thread

I ride through the OP for all my commutes, but can't recall when exactly it got peppered that heavily with so many concrete blocks, been like that for a few months, perhaps a year even. The road has always been blocked at either end for cars, but probably mortorbikes were drag racing there I can imagine?
