I rode one of those to Switzerland in 1987. Lovely bike. It will serve you well!

I've a near mint condition Raleigh Tigershark (Cro-Mo frame). 8x3 STIs (shifts brilliantly), QR front and rear wheels with stainless steel spokes and hardly an rim wear. nice low gears 22/32/42 + 12-30.
I'd like £150Also have a very nice old skool Carerra, Cro-Mo frame, 7x3, trigger shifters again, RST front suspension but not overly heavy. £125
I'm a bit out your way based in Letchworth Garden City but give me a shout if interested. -

The Dawes went for £100 - I was really tempted but I don’t need another vintage MTB right now.

Got a notified on that Dawes
Looking pretty mint, hoping its mechanically sound and ready to ride as is.

You did very well there.
Hi, I'm looking for an old steel MTB meant for commuting / towing duty for a kids trailer.
Prefer something with a rigid fork like a rockhopper, trek antelope, trek 7XX, and possibly priced below £150 would be great.
Not too fussy about cosmetics, just needs to be fully functional~
I am 6ft with short legs (32" inseam)
Will be in London this Sunday, but based in Oxford if anything nearby is available will be available anyday for viewing/collection.
Update; got a really great offer on a mint looking 1999 Hardrock on eBay, much excitement!
