Feel like I’ve made it, got people chatting shit on a cycling forum about me.
The honest trust is, much to their surprise I chose to leave after they offered me a better contract than I was on last year - laughable, I know. But I really see a better fulfilling future with Canyon.
Cheers!

I've got a Canyon on the way! I'm a time-poor vanilla MAMIL with two kids and zero palmarès, hmu if you're looking for a sweet collabo.
Seriously tho best of of luck!

Alec rides sweet fixies too, you have more in common than you think.
Which makes me wonder what this means for fixed crits in the future now that Canyon are providing the rides
-
• #2858
Haha second that!.. actually I've been lapped by @Alec_pedaler a few times at the cx league, so if there was such a thing as 'inverse palmares'

Both gingers too.

Is one a newer frame/design? Thanks.
Pretty sure that the first link with zero stock are last years colours and model.
They have subtly different designs, see the different shaped seapost, other changes in the link below..

Considering an ultimate / endurace for my next wall decoration. Could someone educate me on the 1 piece stem? If I were to travel with it how easy is it to put in a bike box?
-
• #2869
It seems a lot easier with the width adjustable CP0018 set up. The bars split on the tops which means the drop sections can be undone and folded inwards. No need to undo the stem.
I think the older one piece design would need to be unbolted at the stem so you'd need enough slack in the cables and hoses to do that. Mot sure how easy that is (I got an endurace with trad stem and bars to avoid dealing with this)

Also depends on the bike box. I used to keep the stem attached to my bars simply because it's was a pain in the butt to get the set up exactly dialled. I always used an alan which is quite generous

can you do me favour when you get a chance please?
is there at least a 10mm gap between the non drive side crank arm and the chainstay on your inflite?
I've got a 4iiii left side powermeter that I'd want to use but I notice that canyon use a "slim" version when they sell a power meter on the inflite sl7. I also saw someone selling one on eBay with a heavily rubbed chainstay.

There definitely is a spacer on the nds arm. Then again it could be because I have the AXS dub chainset

thanks, that's very helpful.
it looks like loads of space with your sram cranks but my Shimano 105s are much narrower at the spindle end so I can see why it would be tight...

Took my new Inflite out for a ride. It was as much fun as you can have on a bike without riding fixed. Stock build is so smart. 46/36 up front but still has a clutched rear mech. Unless you Actually Race 50t chainrings are fake news. Clearance is good but still looks smart with road wheels. Geo is perfect for a little bit of aero razzing for a Vanilla Mamil like me. 9/10

post is useless without pics
How do you know he's pretending? Alec is a straight up guy and doesn't bullshit in my experience.
You can always ask him yourself btw, as he is on here @Alec_pedaler
