It's worth looking at Invisiframe kits or similar for it.
My Hubble Purple Solaris Max paint scuffed incredibly easily. I think it'd have looked a real mess by now without the kit. -

I don’t know if it’s an option with postage etc but I got some wheels built by https://www.ryanbuildswheels.co.uk/ and they have been great so far. He can also get other parts if needed. Really easy to deal with, and really well built wheels so far.

Nice! Might not bother you, but I ended up getting a fidlock bottle for mine.

I have a boardman low rise 700ish bar and a 80mm carbon wrap BBB stem? I think you will want to do better though!

Extremely jealous.

Cheers, but I was hoping for something a bit nicer for some out-of-fashion sized parts

I've cut my new MTB chain 1 link longer than it was. What difference will I notice with these new fangled clutched RDs? How much excess chain can they cope with? Figured I'd try running an extra link as if I have to cut it down, I've already got more to play with, but I don't know how far I can push it. No idea how optimal it was to begin with.

Obviously you should make it the right length, but unless it's actually too long now, which is unlikely, you'll not really notice, and your reasons for having a touch long make sense.

Yeah, that was one of the extras I chose, that and an extra hanger.

I’ve put him on the list!

Pretty quick answer to my own question once it was installed. Deffo too slack with the extra link. It was a nice thought. Thanks.

I don't want it faster, I want it more ridiculous

Now that there are two of them strongly believe we should see some dual slalom racing between them.

Ha! Had been following this guy on insta. He went silent for about a year, glad that he's back at it. The earlier single sided carbon prototype looked brilliant.
Never rode a linkage fork, would love to see how this one feels. -
• #25818
Fuck me, makes a lauf fork look positively gorgeous
-
• #25819
That looks interesting, got any more details about it?

Thanks.

It’s the bike I’m taking to Singapore/Indonesia/Malaysia- hopefully it will prove to be a better choice than the Madonna
Okay, one Cotic frame set ordered; a FlareMax in Hubble Purple with Cane Creek shock, Helm fork and CC40 headset. And two Cotic branded bidons. I know what mix of groupset I’d like but things like wheels, tyres and brakes are not decided yet. Any ideas welcome. My riding is 90% smooth Dutch singletrack with an occasional outing to the Eiffel or similar. I’ll update my dorment current project thread as soon as the frame arives
