I wouldn't have assumed so. I just thought they plugged it in, ran whatever tests they needed to do and that was it. Charging it from empty can take 5 hours, I wouldn't expect that to be factored in by default. They were more than happy to plug it in once the service was done though.
£195 is their e-cargo price, it didn't differentiate on make. More than regular as they strip off all accessories, have their own lifts for cargo bikes etc. So it's whatever their top service is plus the extra for it being a big fuck off unit.
Again, I don't "like" paying it as most of it I would be happy to do myself (given the time). It's the E stuff that would be expensive to remedy if I didn't stay on top of it. And seeing as I don't think I can just get the motor and battery done, even if I could it would probably not cost much less as it would still need stripped down, may as well get the full service.
