  • Just finished 'I am not ok with this' on Netflix, totally bingable short series with short episodes.
Bit cliche like stranger things, but great soundtrack like stranger things!

  • I'm enjoying the backlash from folks, "how dare they change the story". Personally I'd find a like for like adaption a bit boring. Also not sure how they'd recreate some of the action scenes.

  • Started Lockwood and co last night. Good start although it feels like itโ€™s meant for a teenager, not a nearly 40 year old

  • it incredible - offerman and bartlett were just perfect

  • Dopesick

Yea that one was pretty good ๐Ÿ‘

  • Definitely an improvement on episode 1! Episode 3 was something else.

  • Just started watching Slow Horses on AppleTV and noticed an old schoolmate is in it.

  • I enjoyed this show.

  • Had to stop episode 3 at 20 minutes to go. I'll pick it up again when there's less dust in the air.

  • It gets much less dusty.

  • spoiler only cos they cracked a window
  • Wait, I meant more dusty. Fucking dust all over that episode.

  • Extraordinary (Disney+)

An alternate modern day where everyone gets super powers when they turn 18.
Apart from Jen (the main character) who is in her 20s and still waiting for them to come in.

(It is comedy and very not a "marvel" superhero series)

  • Big Boys on Ch4 did binge liked alot.

  • Yeah it's good.

I tried the first ep of 'everyone else will burn'. Absolutely terrible.

  • everyone else will burn

I didn't mind it, although not a patch on Friday night dinners.

  • Lockwood and co

Really enjoying it. Think there is enough darkness in it to cover the ages. E3 was quite scary, i'm 60+.

  • May contain Last Of Us spoilers.

Maybe I am just dead inside but I didn't pause the much fanfared episode 3, I fast forwarded through it. It was one of those less exciting episodes of the Walking Dead but with the guest star being Ron Swanson. Admittedly a nut job survivalist Ron Swanson to start with but naturally a gruffly loveable and vulnerable Ron Swanson in very short order. All presented in the style of a terrible NYT article where an architect and his bee keeping husband show you their Massachusetts holiday home. And like in the Walking Dead when the producers want to show their bona fides as serious people they contrive a situation where life can be lived almost exactly as it was before all the trouble started and something beyond the undead/badly yeast infected can be mulled over. Beards can be kept trimmed and shirts laundered, pianos played and strawberries harvested suggestively. No thanks.

  • Agree if you don't know Ron Swanson/Nick Offerman respective back stories it works way better than if you do because then you know what the writers were trying to do for a US audience.

  • You're just walking dead inside.Apart from the the slightly contrived initial meeting and quick jump to have a full fucking meal rather than a handful of rations, pretty easily argued away because Swanson was lonely AF but scared, it was a beautiful little self contained love story that got blasted through in one episode rather then stretched out over 8 series that gave a bit of variety to something that's only going to likely focus on the main characters and a couple of short term fodder they interact with otherwise if it's going to follow the general premise of most video games. Plus all that bearded kissing was sexy AF and must've pissed off so many people it's beautiful in and of itself.

  • No need to @reply me, I could probably work out you were responding from context.

  • You talking to me?

  • I usually remember and try to accommodate.

  • Yeh, and just because we both have beards, don't go getting any ideas.

  • Well that's like a fucking @ me for ideas directly into my head, fucking cheers.
