we just had our buyers demand 20k offs 10 weeks ginto the process. we told them to fuck off and take their decent mortgage rate with them.

they fucked off and now I'm spending my cycling time cleaning for viewings and weve almost certainly lost our purchase.

yep. in the end we panicked and offered (another) 5k off.

it was for work in the building that the freeholder had said wasn't necessary and isn't going to happen.

they had all the info in early November and they did that in mid Jan. that's what's most shit about it.
