Primitive superstitions about flints still flourish in the UK and Denmark

When I moved to Copenhagen, first week and I've got 4 flats in 5 days commuting to work.
Swapped my Clement LAS for Schwalbe marathons.

Flints are real.

Yeah, I've pulled what I would call 'flints' out of tyres in the UK for years. I'm not sure what he thought a flint was and why they didn't pierce tyres.
