He just seems to have an endless need for cash, with no depth to which he will not stoop (grammar?) to get it. Shilling crypto comes to mind.
More than life-changing sums of money (e.g. the £800k loan) seem to come and go without filling the void.
Very different to Blair, who similarly made a ton of money after leaving office, but has an enormous property portfolio to show for it.
