I think you're being quite generous to Flaine's buildings there!
@hugo7 Flaine's an easy transfer from GVA - just over an hour or so - is a good ski area with lots of intermediate stuff to do, and i think it's got a good snow record too. However, it is definitely not a pretty alpine village and from what i could see there's not much (any) apres or nightlife in general (but then i'm getting too old for that stuff), so depends on what you're after. Great destination for a long ski weekend, not so great for snowbomb party vibes.
