Supposed to have had ours but had a bad night and woke up with headcold and body aches. Decided probably not worth it, particularly as we didn't have the numbers to complete a team anyway, which is worrying for the club.

How did you get on?

Ah hope you feel better soon. We only had a small turnout, thankfully more than rniugh that I needn't be a counter.
I was appx 450 of appx 500. Am still getting over long time lurgy so didn't go full gas but effort still big to stay with back of pack. Was getting lapped.

How does one achieve the trail running equivalent of turning up to a local club ride in the "I spent 20k at Sigma sports" full MAAP/PNS/Rapha/S-works SL7 look? Asking for a friend...
On a more serious note, I'm doing some slightly longer runs where I need to drink and I want a very minimalist (ie minimally sweaty) pack to hold either squishy bottles or a small bladder, plus a light jacket, a few bars and my keys. Any suggestions?

For me, a vest would be preferable to a belt or whatever, very happy with my ADV Skin one.
It makes me sweat a little bit more on my back, but it's not bad, and it fits like a glove, which is a huge plus 👍 -

...full MAAP/PNS/Rapha/S-works SL7 look?
... I recently stumbled across just the thing.

Surely it’s tracksmith

I do like most of their stuff but you'll certainly spend a few quid kitting yourself out top to toe in Satisfy especially if your wearing two layers on top for winter.

Satisfy, Tracksmith, district vision, Wyrd running, Saysky, Doxa - feel like that’s a good starting list

The short version of these are great

Tracksmith is Waffa, not sure about a direct equivalent to MAAP, Satisfy = PNS seems a fair shout.
What is the running Assos? Where does Soar fit in (and is their stuff any good)

No Gyakusou?

I think it’s ok but a lot of the design is a bit meh.
Would On be Assos?

I’m not sure if they’re still going?
-
• #28746
They're both Swiss and techy so probably the closest. Saysky is definitely Attaquer

Rapha came along and made cycling stuff that looked ok and lasted. A lot of these running brands look like what was found in the PE bin at school.

Mens running tights - do they exist with the same funky patterns that women's tights have?
Or are they all twice as much and black. -
