You don’t need to scrape the tar from the bottom, only from the tongue and grooves, you just have to use the right tar/glue to restick them. It melts in with the old tar. I’ll try to find the brand

Slab was poured Friday, roof will be finished on Monday then me, my brother and assorted builders lift the 140kg rooflight into place.
Bit slow going but we’re getting there. Gets better and better every day. Rear doors and glass blocks go in next week too 🤞
I’ve been machining some solid brass shower knobs and cleaning up the OG 1949 kitchen door handles to reuse.

Beautiful!
May I ask what the specs of the exposed timber and flat roof build-up are?
We are looking to do something very similar with our ground floor extension, would be great to know the ins and outs as we're not using an architect...

Neither are we! I've designed it, between me, building control and the builder we've worked out the spec.
GRP roof membrane
OSB
Firings
OSB
150mm PIR
18mm MR MDF
JoistsWorks out to 0.15 W/m²K. You'll have to find a structural engineer to spec the joists based on span, spacing and load.

I'd want to check that it didn't throw cooking stuff all over your nice roof glass there.
Guess it will go through a hefty filter first.
Is the roof going to stay raw fiberglass?

Wrong forum for that kind of thing. Try Pistonheads or Landlordzone.
