The decriminalised behaviour of his players is a major bone of contention that Burnley were ever "good".

“The meat counters loss could be Everton’s gain” is superb

Getting the team with one of the lowest budgets in the league into Europe definitely seems pretty "good".
People did seem to struggle that our disciplinary record didn't match their preconceptions though. Maybe if we'd dived a bit more, committed more cynical fouls and got some red cards we'd have been viewed as a less dirty team.

Is there particularly tasty gravel at Bramley-Moore Dock?

Pfft. The rugby you, stoke, Bolton etc got away with is comical.

City, dirtiest team in the league.

We may be really really badly run and really really bad at football but we’re still the best football club there is. It’s just cold hard facts, there can be no argument.

Interesting video from Dyche on tactics he employed
If JJ Bull hasn't done a zany video about it then your manager has never done a tactic.

Much obliged.

Post Darvel embarrassment, the dandy Dons conceded 6 at Easter Road this afternoon. Does relegation beckon on the 40th anniversary of European glory?
-
• #164415
They’re 2 points off 4th.
So probably not.

Malo Gusto’s transfer to Chelsea confirmed. He has left in bad taste according to Aulas.

Drove for 90 minutes each way yesterday to watch a 0-0...and it was great.
Ipswich were excellent yesterday, a weakened team held their own against a (weakened) team that is tearing up the Championship.
Second string players fit in the system really well, and some great pressing forcing some really good Burnley players into errors.
So much better than last weekend, which is the worst football match I've ever tried to watch:

AC Milan follow up last week's 4-0 defeat at Lazio by losing 5-2 at home to Sassuolo

Blatant red for Fabinho turned down by VAR. Subbed seconds later. Classic.
Great 2nd for Brighton though. Hope they hold on.

Two terrible tackles at the end there. Fabinho should have walked. That touch from mitoma was wonderful. A worthy winner.
-
• #164421
Now if those challenges had been made by a side managed by… let’s say… Sean Dyche. What would the media say?

That winner from Mitoma was wonderful. Love it
Red card all day for Fabinho. Who was on var? -
• #164423
Andrea Bocelli?
-
• #164424
Had to so a quick search to see who Andrea is but I think he would have done a better job on that Fabinho challenge.

Mitoma signed from Kawasaki Frontale, apparently.
You can take that position, but it’s not football. It’s shit on a stick.
