Lusso all the way. I can't be bothered to use other brands. I still have bibs after 5 years use for winter riding. Their stuff lasts and is very roomy and comfortable.
I did buy a pair of Enduro bibs which ripped after 3 months use - lesson learned. -

Can anyone recommend a pair of bib shorts with pockets?
I’ve tried the rapha core cargo and can’t seem to get on with the fit and seam position at front

Anyone has recommendations for brands that aren't super snug on the thighs?
The best fitting bib I've ever used is this: Condor Professional in size Small. Perfect fit, but theyre on the way out and there's no size S in stock.
Sportful: S is SUPER tight. Medium is still way too snug mid-thigh upwards, and its the longest I'd go
Rapha: S is quite tight, and its already the longest I'd go.A different way of asking it: Bibs that are short on the quads so I can size up :) for reference, I'm 5"6', upper part of thigh measures around 21 inches.

I think galibier do different leg lengths in so models, might be that help?

They seem to have great reviews all around, and on top of having the different leg lengths, they have a jersey design that is right down my alley.
I'll try and report back!

Update on Galibier: Even the size Large & Shorter leg version was too tight on quads. Not very stretchy around the bottom of the legs at all.
On a brighter note, after wearing it for a ride or two and washing it, the Sportful Neo bib has proven to be perfect. Had a 4.5h ride in them without any issues. Currently selling for £22.5 at saddleback, so grabbed a few more :)

Would a medium Rapha roughly be a large in the Sportful?
-
• #37
Possibly. This is how I'd order them for size, based on experience:
Rapha XS
Sportful S
________Above this line doesnt fit me currently
Rapha S
Sportful MFrom what I heard, sportful is known to be more snug. If you're debating between sizes, size up if you're tall. I'm short, so going L from any brand would mean bib would be down to my knees :)
Edit: or order both and try for size. Return procedure with Saddleback was super easy!

Hoping someone might be able to help please, I'm looking to get my brother a first pair of bib tights for a cycling holiday.
Would I be looking at a large or extra-large for a 36" waist in DHB/similar?
I really rate my Victory Chimp bibs, look good, mega comfy and just within your price cutoff
