Started on this coverup today.
I had thought about just a solid black triangle but left it in the hands of the artist (Gillian at Mortez, in Glasgow) and she came up with this geometric design.
There will be shading in the spaces around the solid pieces so the underlying embarrassment will be better covered when it's all done and it may also get mirrored (with the solid/shading flipped) to fill up the space lower on my arm.
My first geometric piece, really quite like it.

Loving this guys style.
Hoping to get in with him next year for a glitch scythe tattoo.
(Edit: not mine, just an example of his work)

looks cool, but I doubt that will age well

It will age fine, you can see the colour sections are lined.

Still probably my favorite at the moment, mini portrait on the back of my knee done by my wife. Kurt Russel from “big trouble in little china.” My brother has a matching one of snake bliskin from escape from bewyork.

It's this. I saw it on Instagram then could never find it again so couldn't big up the guy who drew it. It's a take on Mr Peanut innit?

Does anyone take any medicine to stop excessive puffiness in a limb following a tattoo? I took anti histamines after a previous large one on my right arm. I have eight tattoos on it and the last few times it's been unbearably hot and puffy afterwards for a few days. I'm considering getting a cover up some time this year. My family crest is a snake wrapped around a blade and it's on my lower right arm, but since I've had kids I don't like its prominence any more. My older son asks why I have a knife tattooed on my arm.

nope but its a wound so probably not a bad idea, maybe something like ibuprofen?
But im also a big believer in realllllllllllly waiting to cover something up, onless its like obviously racist offensive. your opinion will probably come around again.
Also good opportunity to teach kids about personal growth and change, or you know just tell him you used to be a pirate. Thats what I did with my nieces. My daughter just thinks they are cool. (also have a big knife on the arm lol)

I had a couple of small geometric line pieces done on Thursday. They are healing up well. How long before I can put the lycra back on?
I like the bird, very cool.
