Depending what's on the rear (hard to see but it looks between a 16-18T) you don't want a 30T up front, you shouldn't really be pedalling once you are going. Always nicer to do a quick turn on a higher gear between rhythm sections as too low a gear spinning can throw you off balance or risk slipping a pedal IMO.
I would also say drop a link or two out that chain so you get a bit more wrap around the rear sprocket. I don't want you to have a skip just as you are cranking.
