The early bird freezes his bollocks off.
Got 900km to do still today.

Yep - a bit challenging at the moment - round here the salt and gravel have kind of worn away. Sketchy on the minor roads - happy motoring !

Stay safe and warm out there.

No cupholder?

At Orleans now so about half way down. Chilly

Good job - that's a slog, even when the weather is nice.

Gotta replace the tyres on my zoomer, there isn’t as much choice as there use to be for the sizes
120/90 10
130/90 10I’d like to put a set of city grips on but they only do 120/70 10.
Anyone got other suggestions of decent tyres, I’m avoid conti as they aren’t great from experience.

Taps screen, hits refresh, it’s been a day and still no pics. It’ll have been nicked before we see it at this rate.

I've been deeply nerding on my bike shopping list...
TU250GB is ready to be collected from the workshop after pre-sale service and the mechanic actually called me to tell me one of his regulars saw it in the shop and is interested in buying so I suspect I can sell it handy enough.
Two considerations for the list are that I probably won't find a 990 Adventure in budget so probably not a realistic consideration at the moment for me... also most of the BMWs are sky high mileage so probably not going to go for one of those either...
Now... help me decide please 😅

Got my CBT yesterday. Next up, the theory test.

Congrats, not the best weather for it but I guess you'll get your test in spring?

Haha! Here it is - lots of fun - very small, light and revvy. Love the quick shifter and feel good about ABS.

Looks really smart, especially juxtaposed with those hooligan looking orange things behind it. I know it’s the same bike but it is much better dressed.
Although, are those pillion pegs mounted to the swing arm? You’ll want toe straps on those pegs to keep Louise’s feet in place.

I think they’re mounted to the rider foot pegs with a cast aluminium bit.

Ah, I see now.

Thanks.
I'm looking for a Direct Access course - but not having much luck in London. They're either a) sold out until Jan 24 b) double the price
Any recommendations would be great.

How far can you travel? Try CSN in Gillingham.

Cam rider, they do the course as one or two half days a week with a two week gap between mod 1 and 2 in case you fail 1 and need to sell your mod 2 slot. Lea valley centre is 1 mile south of ponders end train station and they use Enfield test centre so easy roads around Waltham Abbey and Chesham.

This looks perfect. Thanks a lot.

Going to take it apart and stick an AirTag to it. Also I got LCC discount on the big fuckoff hiplock. That paid for the AirTag.

I did like the look of this in the showroom

Perfect UK backroads scratcher. Would love a go on that.
(mind you, yours is damn near perfect too as you can scream the knackers off it everywhere, mucho amusing, I'll bet.)
Medium, HG17
