• Reasonably priced bluetooth earbuds? Picked up a set of Belkin ones from Argos for £25 but they're basically useless for calls according to everyone I've tried to call!

I think that's pretty much every bluetooth set of headphones. Dankpods does mic comparisons and bluetooth ones always end up sounding shit in comparison to cheap wired headphones.

If you don't need noise cancelling, the Sony WF-C500 are nice for £55. With the caveat that the mic won't be as good as wired headphones.

  • Aye I’ve come to learn that earbuds are likely to just be shit for calls. I’ve got a set of sound magic ones that have the neckband but they’re shite - have to “forget” the device and repair with my iPhone every time.

Annoyingly the Belkin pair I bought went from £25 to £50, so I probably should have tried a second pair rather than just getting a refund.

Ive seen that newer ones also have the option of adjusting noise cancelling settings in an app too which would be handy as noise cancelling actually makes them impractical for work a lot of the time.
