I dont agree any safe space is needed, its already illegal to be abusive. Its a way of policing that without having to be present. Its a fob off not a support, imo.

That officer should be alive and jailed was always my point, police failings prevented that.

Why should anybody give you that consideration, when most of your ignorant rant was attacking people here in the worst of bad faith, ascribing the worst motives you could think of to their comments? I didn't see people taking the positions you accused them of, I saw people talking about basic legal principles and also moral ones. The undeniable fact that the police often forget those principles when dealing with (and protecting) their own is not an argument for the rest of us asking for those principles to be broken when we don't like the defendant. That's what I saw people saying.

I agree with you, I don't think they are anywhere near as sacred or protected as they should be, there are examples of that everywhere. However.

Said lady is the director of March for Life UK, a pro life organisation. She knowingly broke an exclusion zone outside said Birmingham abortion clinic which had - quite rightly - been put in place to protect the people working there and the users of the service, who have every right to a safe abortion without getting hassled by god botherers.
So it's not a great example, unless you mean that access to safe abortion services is a human right, in which case you're quite right.
