The tart in me hates the way pogies look on bikes! π

I think you'd have the same issue I do with pogies. Good for commuting/general riding but not ideal for courier work when you're taking your hands in and out of them all the time. If you put cold hands in a pogie, they're not going to warm up.

Pogies + Gloves, though...

As far as I'm aware they don't always fit so well with bars that have a lot of layback. π€

I've used them with On One OG bars which have a fair bit of back sweep. The shape of the bars wasn't an issue at all, I just didn't get on with them for other reasons.

Well I'm still too much of a tart to use them! π

If you can get away without using them, do. They're absolutely fucking minging.

How is it cold enough for pogies in London? Or is it just that you're all soft southerners?
I haven't needed mine up here in Glasgow this year or last.
When it does get cold enough to need them the warmth definitely makes up for the aesthetics.

It's below zero and I have raynauds! That and I'm a soft southerner.

Far too warm tonight with this setup
Can I ask what issues 'too warm' hands cause?
-
• #2571
Just a bit sweaty. Definitely better than too cold.
-
• #2572
Ah fair enough. I've always found getting my hands super toasty when it's freezing is quite a pleasant feeling.
-
• #2573
Nothing smugger than slightly sweaty hands on a frosty commute while others waiting at the lights are shaking / slapping / blowing on their frost bitten digits.
-
• #2574
Agreed. But alas, I usually find myself in the latter category.
One thing I find helpful is stopping for a bit. Thereβs a bloke who begs near the station on my commute in and we often have a chat for a bit. Usually find my hands have warmed up hugely in that time.

Battery easily lasts about 2hrs at full power
Have you tried these? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325434379754?var=514460984714
Lot of good reviews from folks who've used them.
