The pic taken at Jakarta.
Pardon the water bottle. This bike used to be mine but now my good friend take care of it. Though he's not that detail when it comes to bike.
Anyhow, here's my merckx with new Turbo saddle. Look much retro with matchy white perforated leather saddle n bartape. Previously I used black SLR saddle (second pic).

That's really nice! What wheels are those? How is cycling around Jakarta?

I thought it looked like Jakarta - Kocas flyover? Nice to get the photo there with no traffic!
I'm in Jakarta too. Say hi if you see a tall guy on a blue Bob Jackson fixed gear or a yellow Canyon road bike

It's fun riding in Jakarta - great cycling scene with a real mix of roadies, fixed gears, cool vintage bikes, big Brompton crews. It's a huge city but with some amazing road riding in the mountains nearby

Wheels are from local builder in Bali, I guess he ordered the rim from Kinlin. It has similarities with Hunt Aero 31 (which uses kinlin rims).
Cycling around Jakarta is quite challenging, though its quite fun especially in early morning in weekends.
@Momentum whoah hello, surprised to see another Jakartan in here. The photo was taken at semanggi flyover, always empty at Sunday morning because of car free day.
Definitely will say hello if I see you and your bike, I usually ride my Ritchey / merckx / hampsten (all steel) on Sat or Sun morning.

I love it ! That frame could only look older if the ivy was growing on it ;-)

Thanks man! I found a frame like this timeless. Only need to upgrade the groupset etc every few years

That's a funky creature! Love the commitment showing from the classic drop, the etap and ultegra brakes

Especially the non classic bar position. 👌

Nice build! No offence but the frame looks way too small for you

very nice, those cages are hideous but they're camouflaged in this photo... also bars down a tad for aesthetics but ignore me - lovely!

I know. Ringle H2O should come on a nineties mountainbike, not on a road bike.
