I used 12 concrete filled cardboard piling tubes (300mm ID x 600mm deep), with high strength concrete & reinforced with rebar.
The floor frame rested on adjustable base pads (each with a load limit of 1,400kg)
Overall cost was ~£500 iirc.
Where can I find all of the chat about which foundations are best for a garden room? Just had a quote in for £3,500 for a base so I think i'm going to have to do it myself.
I'm leaning to concrete slab but am also considering a screwed in base as I could lose a lot of hardcore in there. Good for circulation too but a bit worried about rodents getting in underneath it.
