That looks awesome, and in lovely condition (to the eye at least, there can be issues with old electronic film cameras). I'd get something relatively cheap to start with, up to you whether you go for colour or black and white but if the latter look for one labelled as "C41" because getting it developed will be cheaper. Would recommend 400ISO film (a relatively light-sensitive one, basically) as it's winter and you might be using the camera indoors with the flash. In terms of shops, if you have somewhere local that sells film cameras you could just go in (MrCad in Victoria for example), otherwise there are loads of options online like Analogue Wonderland, Jessops etc.
For developing, if you're in London Analogue Films in Shoreditch is great and cheap. You can also send them your film. I also send mine to Kirklees Photographic in Bradford, though they send huge TIFF file scans.

I’ve got this little Canon that I’d like to use.
Having never even loaded film into a camera before, can anyone suggest where I can purchase some film online and what film I should be looking for?
It’s not a particularly great camera I know, but it has sentimental value and seems to be in great condition and working order so I though it would be a good choice to shoot my first roll of film on.
