A local to me has a saluki/whippet and she's the best, perfect recall, plays nicely with dogs of all sizes, just wants to run big circles at 100mph then lie down. Also amazingly soft fur.
Thats exactly what our friend with a greyhound/saluki cross was hoping for....and ended up with a total certifiable lunatic 😂

I met a really nice Springer Saniel the other day, played so nicely with my small one, so well behaved. The person walking it told me she is a foster so she only had her a couple of weeks. She'd sleep all day at home then play nicely in the park, never wander off to too far, basically just being the perfect dog. I know it's a one off though, no chance you could get another Springer and expect it to behave the same, I don't think I'd have the time or energy to keep one properly.
