You see "police follow this van" on the back of cash security vehicles.
Does that mean "watch out criminals, for the police might be following this van" or does it mean "hey police, please follow this van"
As a child I thought the latter. Like they pressed a button inside if they were getting hijacked and that sign revealed itself. Later I realised otherwise.
I've always thought the latter was the meaning but now I'm questioning myself. If I'm wrong about this then maybe I'm wrong about everything.
