I won't be changing shifters before AMR. I might change bars though.
My thumb is basically 90deg to my arm when I'm shifting so I could do with maybe narrower and with more backsweep. Also my wrists default to a downward angle so I wonder if something curved downwards at the ends might help? Doesn't seem to be a very common design style though
Going from 0km on the MTB to 3x100k is finding all sorts of issues (which is worrying as AMR is around the corner). Thumb strength not likely an issue given although it has been a while since I've fitted a bastard tyre, so maybe SuperThumbs™ are losing their abilities. I put it down to the stupid wide bars everyone uses and me not bothering to put shifters in a nice place to begin with. Maybe I could make a Pissweak Extender Lever™ so I don't have to cock my thumb back so far to shift? Perhaps incorporating a pulley system...
