I'm looking for a (steel) frame with the following:
set up for 26 (or 27.5) wheels
canti or v-brake mounts
1 1/8 inch head tube
fits a 6ft rider, so large-mediumish
I'm doing a frame transplant for my 650b conversion. The old frame was a 700 to 650b conversion, now I want to try a 26 to 650b. Wheels are for rim brakes, so that's a necessity. I think tyre clearance shouldn't be a problem, but I'd like to keep running 42mm. I want a 1 1/8 inch head tube, so I can play with different forks in the future. Ideally, it should also look pretty.
Does anyone have a failed or neglected project that fits the description gathering dust?
