My dad bought two consecutive Montegos. The latter when I was 17-ish and the first big car I occasionally drove, usually only insured for my mum's Fiesta.

We had 2 consecutive montegos that ran on red diesel most of the time.

Ahh the infamous Montego Perkins. My father also had two consecutive Montegos. The last which spent most of its time being repaired was the all important GTi Estate in BRG.
