Imagine being me. My dad bought a new Maestro Clubman in 89/90. I desperately tried to convince him to get something else, but he wanted to buy British. So I begged to at least get the LX with electric front windows, but no.
He at least got silver rather than the gold metallic of his previous Maestro.

My dad bought two consecutive Montegos. The latter when I was 17-ish and the first big car I occasionally drove, usually only insured for my mum's Fiesta.
