That was helpful. We found a Indesit one on eBay with cosmetic damage to the front of the door which has saved £100 or so. They're part of hotpoint/whirlpool so cheaper end but still branded.
Only a year manufacturers' warranty, but you'd hope a main brand freezer should be fine. It's not like a dishwasher or washing machine with loads of parts.
TBH once you put in all our various dimensions, built-in requirements, and discount the sub-99l ones there's not tonnes of choice anyway. £280 feels more sensible than >£500 for Nef/Bosch right now. It's not like there are loads of features on a stand alone freezer.

Our dimensions are 56cm W x 55cm D and most of the ones I can see on AO look a bit stingy for those dimensions. Eg 91-93 vs 100l for the less pricy options.
However, I've never heard of CDA. It's sounds like something cyclest would obsess over to get some extra marginal gainz. Are they any good?
