I hate

I get it, I really do. But increasingly I find that there are so many slow moving HGVs, vans with speed limiters and caravans or just congestion assembling to turn off at the next junction that driving anywhere other than the middle lane is becoming more difficult. On busy roads that is of course.

Imo, the mddle lane hogging rules were written at a time when the elft lane was far less congested. I do spend a lot of time driving on major roads that connect with ports though so perhaps my experience isn't indicative.
