What's the best way to value and sell?
To value, look on Auto Trader for what the make and model and similar mileage are advertised at. Selling privately you will need to discount by 10% from what dealers are charging.
For where to sell, depends on the value.
High end, use Motorway.com
Mid-range, use Auto Trader (and/or Pistonheads.com especially if it is a sporty or prestige model)
Banger territory, list on eBay with a brutally honest description and a 7-day no reserve auction. Be prepared to weed out timewasters though.
