The carbon look spaces are not proprietary for this frame; they are just some I had knocking around in my spares box. I may put a 5mm spacer beneath the stem and then chop the steerer based on that but as this is currently set up is replicating the fit I have on my 595 and my Serotta both of which are #scherritcertified and both of which I’ve ridden tens of thousands of km on without issue - I think the drop just looks more extreme because of the angle of the photo and the sloping top tube.
