The shame is that court case is about the interpretation of Acts that apply to Dartmoor as a whole (of which this hedge fund manager only owns 5% or something). So it affects the whole park even if the other landowners are neutral about wild camping.
If I were the campaigners I would be putting pressure on other landowners to come out against this ruling. I don't know whether Darwall's bit is thought to be particularly suitable for camping, though.
It's mostly owned by Prince Charles. Or I guess Wills now?
