I love that one on the croc strap do you know the ref? I'm eyeing up a SBGX263 to put on an oxblood shell cordovan strap as a dress watch for my next purchase but do prefer the no date models. I should have this paid off by the end of the month and I'm already thinking about the next one 😬 Watches are even more addictive than bikes although they are easier to hide at home. I've had this on pretty much every day since i got it and still feeling it.

Beat me to it !
It doesn't look all that in Seiko's press shots and renders, but looks amazing in owners pics

Yeah, Seiko still haven't worked that out.
Same case/hands/markers as this I think (happy Friday btw).

Popped a green Hirsch strap on my Jungans. Bit smarter now, I think.

Thanks looking on C24 these seem a lot cheaper in Japan. I've got a good friend going to Japan for a few weeks in May so i may send her on a little mission for me. I was originally looking for a cheapish 70's quartz or maybe a hi-beat but these things can escalate quickly and the more you spend the more you save right?

They are a JDM model. Be prepared to add vat and import tax etc on anything arriving from Japan. Same as if you bring one back through customs of course.
I think Sakura and possibly Seiya will also ship them new to the UK.

I did assume there would be a chunk of duty to pay which is why I've never ended up ordering anything from Gnomon but the plan would be to transfer the money to my friends parents in Japan and they order and have it delivered then my friend just brings it back with her to swerve those any fees.

TBF the prices of stuff listed in Japan at the moment still makes it good value.

Seiko Sunday?
Would quite like to put the jubilee bracelet from the GMT on this, need to see if it works as the GMT case is apparently fractionally different.

Close!
I've been enjoying it alot more on rubber than the bracelet - but it hasn't really found its way into rotation a lot, so thinking about moving on.

Snap!
The jubilee on the GMT is so much better than the oyster on these. Makes a surprising difference.

SRPJ41. It was a limited edition of 3000 last year (my one is the SRPJ43 which was 500 pieces and had an extra strap and fancier packaging), and they seem to be holding value pretty well. In fact all the asking prices I can see online are double the original RRP or even more.

Character watches aren't my thing but as they go, I think that's a nice one.

They're cool. Orange one is nice too.
The 90 degree dial thing is great though. Assume it means they're not waterproof but it's a cool concept.

There's an orange one?
Stepped into another rabbit hole (although only with one foot so far). Been browsing Chrono24 for a while for very affordable, vintage watches, and this happened. Beaten, but allegedly serviced and keeps good time. 36 mm case which should work well with my small wrists. Has also an English calendar. Apparently it'll arrive later today, can't wait.
