Totally the opposite. I had them for like 2 years, mostly commutes and winter road rides / light gravel. Not my only bike or wheels so I don't think I got a lot of miles from these. Many punctures, rear looked shredded, leaked for a million holes everytime I put new sealant. Shame because the tires rolled good.
As a counterpoint, with some n=1 anecdotal evidence, I’ve commuted for almost 4 years on Gravelking slicks, regularly riding over glass in the cycle lanes, as well as some longer winter road riding in the countryside and light bridleway riding in the summer. I’ve had 3 punctures. One sealed on its own and I plugged the other two with no issues. Eventually replaced the rear because the tread wore out, but it wasn’t excessively cut up when I removed it.
