I love the Nike Vaporfly - I think they're a great all rounder. The Invincible run is what I pair these with and that would also suit your need (if comfortable).
In adidas, then something like the adizero adios pro 2/3
Hoka clifton, Saucony Endorphin are two which I see a lot of people in as a similar all rounder trainer

Nike Alpha fly/streak fly - I discount the Vaporfly as while they’re very nice the soles don’t last at all. Nikes returns policy is very good too (as long as you buy direct from Nike), I had a pair of alphaflys that got a puncture last week after about 180k, walked into Nike and got an instant refund, would have had a replacement if they had any at the same price but not wanting to spend an extra 150 on alphaflys 2s at the moment.
Not much tops these two across a wide range of speeds and distances for me.
If running really hard the ASICS metaspeed sky is top choice for me, but for me that’s <3:45 per km that they are really amazing and they seem to stall at slower spees for my mid foot gait.
What's the current hotness for running shoes that will mainly do 5 and 10k runs on tarmac?
Possibly a weekly half marathon if I can get my distance up without knackering something.
I've been running in Adidas Solar Boost for years, but it looks like they're old-hat now.
