Nah I spoke with a few other people and there was a thread on MTR. There was a small spring or something that was weak.
Shimano is just fine for a normal user no doubt. But if you ride a lot or do really long distance there are some things that make GX AXS superior. And I am buying it with my own cash.

if anyone is asking, I have gone Microshift Advent X

You can't really compare XTR with GX.
The bike I suggested has XT, reliable AF.

Someone asked me to share my experience with the Conti Kryptotal tyre. Here is a picture next to a worn Conti Der Baron.
I'm not super happy with it, I went for the trail version but it still has very big knobs and feels slow (and its heavy). It's probably better to use it as a bike park tyre instead of cycling uphill with it.
Because of the aggressive profile I decided to use it as a front tyre (this one is rear specific) but this is also not ideal because the profile is quite flat.
It's also annoying that it's narrower then the 2.60" conti's I had before.

Funny thing, I was shocked when I went to DHR II's from the (frankly XC) tyres I was running on my Scalpel SE, now I am quite happy with the performance because they grip like hell.
The Dissector that I have on the back of the trail bike is a good compromise I think, and it's not been wrong-footed by slop in the way that many of the reviews suggested it would be.
Enduro bike has DD DHR II/Assegai, trail bike has Evo+ Dissector/DHF.
Now, Raaw are releasing their DH frame within weeks - what would that run?

While we're on tyres, just replaced my venerable rear Barzo with an Agarro. Also have a Syerra on the way to try when it's dryer.

2.6"? Could you measure the width when you get a chance
Interested to know how well that tread clears mud

Not very well by the looks of it, but I am nonetheless intrigued

2.35. Yeah, might not be great but I don't tend to venture into much sticky stuff in the winter.

Rear mud guard suggestions please?
Not post mounted as I have a dropper and no space for one.
For a full springer.
Do stay mounted ones exist?Haven't Googled or ventured into the (assumed) mudguard thread

It's a cardboard box.

It’s a box with a bag in it. The question is, will an XL Enduro bike fit in the bag?
-
• #25597
It’s not a hard case, won’t survive the trip. Dibs the bits that make it.

• #25598
Where do you want to travel to?
-
• #25599
If its the bag I think it is. Tis very good. Flown twice with one and bike survived twice.

I don't mean in simple shifting performance for a casual user but robustness, reliability, use. Plus when it's first, well used, abused it still just shifts first time correctly. For a big use case, it's a better product.
