Anyone know where to get these? (Cannondale gt-40 right handed cages in silver). Can’t find the silver ones anywhere. Or is there a similar side entry cage that’s easier to find?

I managed to get some from a German site, I'll see if I can find it. Think I did have to pay like £7 postage though.

Yeah you posted a link here a few pages back but they don’t have any in stock now, it seems. I keep thinking I’ve found some and then realising they’re the front entry version :-)

Lifeline bottle cages from Wiggle or CRC. Kept my bottles/bidons in place last year on TPBR from Vienna to Barcelona. No complaints whatsoever.
P.S. £4.39 with platinum discount. Bargainz.

Finally got some of these. Gave up trying to get silver ones. Probably should have got one right and one left, instead of two right but 🤷♂️
BikeInn turned out to be the only place that had them where postage wasn’t completely extortionate.

Monkii cage. Been using one for a while. I like it. if you were dextrous I could believe you could use it whilst riding.
Alt: not used but you can buy the fidlock mounts and attach them to any bottle. Expensive but very nice.
Gorilla cage if you have a triple mount.

Any suggestions for something strong and cheap? Doesn't need to be light or fancy or anything. I keep breaking cages on my work cargo bike.

Anyone tried the Velo orange moderniste? Wank name but i'd like something like the king iris in black or carbon and it fits the bill

Shirley the anodising will wear off the black one rendering it looking 2nd hand whilst it scratches your bottles?
Is it just on the line myth that King cages don't scratch bottles.🤔

They don't scratch them. They do rub away at the surface though. Anything you're pulling and pushing in and out of an interference fit is going to produce wear.
Still love my King cages though.

is this kinda kinky? naughty
arrived today. these are ace. think they'd actually probably be alright on the underside of the DT - pretty tight. only run that setup when in touring mode tho...
